MINSK, 17 June (BelTA) - The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Amkodor will supply road-building equipment to Nicaragua. Such an agreement was reached during a visit of Amkodor’s delegation to the Republic of Nicaragua, BelTA learned from Amkodor’s press service.
During the visit, large contracts were signed to supply Amkodor road-building equipment for the needs of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and the Institute for the Nicaraguan Institute of Municipal Development.
The visit of Amkodor’s delegation to Nicaragua and the signing of contracts to supply road-building equipment became an important stage in strengthening bilateral relations. This step not only contributes to the modernization of Nicaragua's transport network but also creates the basis for closer economic cooperation between the two countries, the press service noted.
Established in 1927, Amkodor consists of 30 legal entities, 22 plants that produce more than 6,500 names of products, including 135 models and modifications of special-purpose vehicles and agricultural machines. All Amkodor enterprises are integrated into a single technological chain. Each member specializes in manufacturing specific machines, units and assemblies for all enterprises of the company. Amkodor constantly develops new models of machines and vehicles and improves existing ones.
