ZHITOMIR, 3 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Amkodor will ship 14 vehicles to Ukraine in October, BelTA learned from Leonid Pinchuk, First Deputy Director of the Marketing Center at Amkodor.
The company is now busy making 14 machines and vehicles for several Ukrainian clients. Those are about eight product titles for various customers. The orders came via Promagroleasing Company, Belarus’ national leasing operator, which acts as the financing organization of these orders. The clients have made a down payment of 70%. The rest of the money will be transferred to Amkodor before the vehicles are shipped. Amkodor Ukrospetsmash Company accepts either 100% payments or payments by installment for these vehicles. The vehicles will be shipped in October.
Amkodor uses various financing schemes. Ukragroleasing Company is expected to sign an agreement with the Belarusian Industry Ministry during the 2nd Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine in Zhitomir. It will allow the Ukrainian company to become part of the program and offer Belarusian machines and vehicles on certain preferential terms.
“The Ukrainian market is rather large. Our segment is estimated at about $80 million every year. I am talking about import, not domestic production. This is why we have space to grow into and we intend to have a very serious presence on the Ukrainian market,” Leonid Pinchuk concluded.
