Belarusian ambassador to South Korea meets with Jecheon mayor

MINSK, 20 September (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea Andrei Chernetsky visited the city of Jecheon, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Seoul.

The diplomat met with Jecheon Mayor Kim Chang-gyu. The head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission briefed the Korean representative on the development of trade cooperation between the two countries, including the supply of food products. The parties also talked about promising projects of investment cooperation and preferential working conditions in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone which may be of interest to the business community of the Republic of Korea.

The parties also exchanged views on key aspects of bilateral dialogue in the humanitarian and cultural areas, the establishment of twinning relations between the cities of the two countries.
