MOSCOW, 12 January (BelTA) - There is a huge demand for a direct flight between Belarus and Vladivostok, Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Dmitry Krutoi said after the opening of the Brest Oblast Days at VDNH in Moscow on 11 January, BelTA has learned.
Ambassador Dmitry Krutoi noted that Belarusian regions, including Brest Oblast, are also interested in direct flights to Vladivostok. "The topic has been discussed at the government level. We need to bring it to attention of our leaders. It is clear that at first this project will require subsidies, support and promotion," he said.
“The mayor of Vladivostok has proactively launched polls among citizens of Primorye asking who is ready to fly to Belarus and for what purposes. I can't wait for the results, but the mayor already says that the demand is huge," Ambassador Dmitry Krutoi noted.
