Belarusian ambassador, Chinese Sinopharm discuss cooperation prospects

MINSK, 4 November (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Yuri Senko met with Sinopharm Chairman Liu Jingzhen, the Belarusian embassy in Beijing told BelTA.

Yuri Senko and Liu Jingzhen discussed the current COVID-19 pandemic situation and possible ways to advance cooperation in the future.

China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation (Sinopharm) is a leading manufacturer of coronavirus vaccines, various pharmaceutical products, and medical equipment.

In 2021 Belarus already received 1.9 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine made by Sinopharm. Work in this direction continues.
