MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) – We need to mobilize all resources to meet the ambitions tasks, namely a 6-7% increase in agricultural output and at least $9 billion in agricultural exports, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said during a meeting to discuss certain problems in the agricultural industry in Minsk on 17 April, BelTA has learned.
"Initially, we were planning to discuss two issues: supplying modern machines within the framework of Decree No. 146 and the ongoing work to deal with unjustified mediation in procurement in the agricultural sector. But in the light of yesterday's large meeting on rural development and efficiency of the agricultural sector chaired by the head of state, we will need to talk, first of all, about the tasks set not only for the agricultural sector but the entire vertical of power," Roman Golovchenko said.
The prime minister recalled the ambitions tasks, namely to increase the agricultural output by 6-7% and earn at least $9 billion on farm exports, which will require the full resource mobilization.
