MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vladimir Borovikov visited Lang Son Province on 17 August, BelTA learned from the Belarusian foreign mission in Hanoi.

During the trip, the Belarusian ambassador held negotiations with Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Ho Tien Thieu. The leadership of the province reaffirmed its commitment to promoting mutually beneficial interregional cooperation with Belarus. The parties reached an agreement to undertake a detailed joint study of promising projects in logistics, trade, industry, tourism and education.

The Belarusian ambassador visited the Huu Nghi border gate on the border with China and a logistics and transport center to determine the prospects for its use  in the supply of Belarusian products in the context of the new economic realities.
