Belarus, Vietnam discuss cooperation in agriculture

MINSK, 13 October (BelTA) - Diplomats of the Belarusian embassy in Vietnam and the Consulate General of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City took part in the opening ceremony of the international exhibition and forum VietStock Expo & Forum 2022 on 12 October. The exhibition is running in Ho Chi Minh City on 12-14 October, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission.

Talks with representatives of the Vietnam Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Vietnamese specialized companies took place on the sidelines of the event. They discussed the issues of expanding Belarusian-Vietnamese cooperation in agriculture and cattle breeding, and outlined bilateral activities for the near future.

Vietnam's Premier International Feed, Livestock & Meat Industry Exhibition (VietStock Expo & Forum) is Vietnam's largest specialized agricultural and meat industry event. It is held under the auspices of the Vietnam Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The program also includes specialized exhibitions VIETFEED (animal feed) and VIETMEAT (meat processing), a business forum with suppliers to the livestock and aquaculture industry and specialized seminars.

The 2022 event is attended by over 170 exhibitors from more than 20 countries.
