MINSK, 13 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Vietnam have agreed to diversify the nomenclature of export and import deliveries. The matter was discussed at the Belarusian-Vietnamese business forum in Hanoi on 13 April, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties reached agreements to intensify contacts in the trade and economic sector, diversify their export and import deliveries, develop cooperation in high technologies, industrial cooperation and investment,” the press service said.
On 13 April Hanoi played host to the official opening ceremony of Belarus’ national exposition at the Vietnamese international trading exhibition Vietnam Expo 2016. The exposition aroused much interest in business circles of Vietnam and Southeast Asia. The Belarusian exposition features mechanical engineering, chemistry and petrochemistry, pharmacology and healthcare, science and education, food industry and potash fertilizers. Partaking in the expo are more than 50 Belarusian companies and organizations. The Belarusian exposition occupies more than 500 square meters.
The Belarusian delegation at the event is led by First Deputy Industry Minister Gennady Svidersky.
