MINSK, 5 July (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Uzbekistan Leonid Marinich and Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov discussed ways to intensify trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Uzbekistan.
“The parties discussed various aspects of trade and economic cooperation and the status of implementation of the agreements reached at the eighth session of the joint intergovernmental commission on bilateral cooperation that took place in Tashkent in March. The agenda of the meeting also included promising areas of cooperation in establishing and financing joint enterprises,” the embassy said.
