MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates Roman Golovchenko met with UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment Thani Al Zeyoudi on 20 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed matters related to mutual recognition of veterinary certificates, inspection of Belarusian meat processing plants, and UAE investments in the development of Belarus’ agriculture. Special attention was paid to the exchange of environmental monitoring practices and cooperation in geological exploration of water resources,” the press service said.
Roman Golovchenko and Thani Al Zeyoudi also reviewed the status of implementation of the agreements signed during the visit of a delegation of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry to the United Arab Emirates and considered ways to promote Belarus’ agricultural exports to the UAE.
