MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) – Mechanisms for boosting the trade between Belarus and Turkmenistan were identified on 23 May during a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Turkmenistan Oleg Tabanyukhov and Turkmen Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Dovran Orazmyradov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed ways to further increase bilateral trade in industrial and food products and indentified trade-boosting mechanisms,” the press service said.
Oleg Tabanyukhov and Dovran Orazmyradov also stressed the important role of the Belarusian-Turkmen trading house in Ashgabat and the Turkmen-Belarusian trading house in Minsk in this process.
The parties reaffirmed their willingness to strengthen mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation.
