MINSK, 26 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Turkey plan to strengthen their cooperation in the field of investments, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Economy Ministry.
“Belarusian First Deputy Economy Minister Alexander Zaborovsky met with Turkish Deputy Minister of Economy Fatih Metin on 26 October. Special attention was paid to the cooperation in the field of investments and the need to boost the interaction between the National Agency of Investment and Privatization and the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK),” the press service said.
The parties also discussed current issues of the bilateral trade and economic cooperation, strategic collaboration areas, and promising joint projects in innovations, telecommunications, woodworking industry, mechanical engineering, and processing industry. They emphasized the importance of cooperation in the services sector, especially transport and construction services.
