MINSK, 15 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Turkey are considering the possibility of launching new flights, including to regional airports, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Turkey Andrei Savinykh said in an interview to the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.

In his words, the parties operate five flights each on a weekly basis. “One more flight will be added in the near future. The further increase in flights will depend on the number of passengers,” said Andrei Savinykh.

The direct flight Minsk-Ankara is under discussion with various Turkish companies. “The parties may talk over not only this connection, but also Gomel-Ankara, Grodno-Antalya. Everything will depend on the interest from Belarusian and Turkish partners. I am talking about regular flights only,” the ambassador noted.
