MINSK, 19 December (BelTA) – An exposition of Belarusian producers Made in Belarus will be displayed at the International Fair of Khartoum that will be running in Sudan from 22 to 29 January 2018, BelTA learned from Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Belarus will be represented by the supersize haul truck manufacturer BelAZ, the agricultural machinery manufacturer Bobruiskagromash and white goods manufacturer Atlant. Applications for the participation in the event are still open.
Made in Belarus exposition will be organized by the unitary company Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Belarusian embassy in Egypt with concurrent accreditation in Sudan.
The International Fair of Khartoum has been held on an annual basis since 1978. It is a key exhibition event in Northeast Africa. Over 600 exhibitors from around the world took part in the event in 2017. The exhibition was attended by more than 145,000 visitors. The exhibition is popular with world exporters of machinery and industrial equipment as 80% of Sudan’s residents are engaged in the agrarian sector. This is a huge market for producers of farming machinery, including tractors, tools, transformers, optics and tires.
