MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) – Belarusian Industry Minister Aleksandr Yefimov will visit Sverdlovsk Oblast of Russia to participate in the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM. The exhibition will feature the enterprises affiliated with the Belarusian Industry Ministry, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry.
In Yekaterinburg the minister is scheduled to take part in the central events of the business program of the forum: meetings of the CIS Council for Industrial Policy and the EAEU Council for Industrial Policy, the session "Horizon 2035: Shanghai Cooperation Organization - the axis of the global economy", and the main strategic session "Technology Partnership: in the Spotlight of International Industry". In addition, Aleksandr Yefimov is scheduled to hold a series of meetings and negotiations with the heads of a number of regions and relevant departments of the countries participating in the forum.
Belarus will run its national exposition in Yekaterinburg Expo center. More than half of exhibits (16 out of 24) are enterprises of the Industry Ministry. Participation of the Industry Ministry enterprises in the exhibition will contribute to the expansion of industrial cooperation, establishment and strengthening of business ties, creation of joint manufactures. A number of commercial documents are expected to be signed during the forum.
"INNOPROM is an important platform for the exchange of opinions and best practices. Every year the enterprises affiliated with the Industry Ministry take an active part in it and thus demonstrate not only their latest achievements, but also their readiness for industrial to manufacture high-tech and innovative goods. Special attention is paid to the development of cooperation with Russia, as our joint work with Russia plays a significant role in achieving technological sovereignty," the Industry Ministry said.
