MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – Belarusian Potash Company has signed a contract to supply potash fertilizers to India with Indian Potash Limited (IPL), India’s major importer of fertilizers, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarusian Potash Company.
“Belarusian Potash Company and IPL, India’s major potassium importer, have signed a contract to supply potash fertilizers to India. The fertilizers will be sold at $230 per tonne on CFR terms till the end of 2020,” the press service informed.
On 30 April, Belarusian Potash Company informed that it reached an agreement with a consortium of Chinese buyers (Sinochem, CNAMPGC, and CNOOC) on a new price for the Chinese contract. The price for deliveries in 2020 will be $220 per tonne in line with the new contract.
The public joint-stock company (OAO) Belarusian Potash Company was established in 2013. It is the exclusive exporter of potash fertilizers made by OAO Belaruskali. Belarusian Potash Company has maintained leading positions on the world market of potash fertilizers for the last few years. Over the course of nearly seven years of its operation the company has sold Belarusian potassium to 133 countries.
