MOLODECHNO, 21 June (BelTA) – Belarus has plans to launch poultry exports to China in Q3 2018, Aleksei Bogdanov, Head of the Central Office for Foreign Economic Activities of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry, told reporters on 21 June, BelTA informs.
“Five Belarusian poultry factories are gearing up to start exporting poultry to China. The first batch of products is to be shipped to China in Q3 this year. Some preparatory work is being done before contracts are signed. However, there is an issue: the certificate extends to carcasses; however, this is not the kind of product that is popular in China. Therefore, we want to get the right to supply poultry cuts and offal, too. I think we will be able to achieve this goal this year,” Aleksei Bogdanov said.
Five Belarusian poultry factories, including Druzhba, Dzerzhinsky Agricultural Company, Servolux, Smolevichi Broiler and Vitebsk Poultry Factory are to deliver their products to China.
