Belarus to showcase over 60 innovations at Caspian Agro, Inter Food expos in Baku

MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) – Belarus is set to present more than 60 scientific, technological and innovative developments at the international Caspian Agro and Inter Food exhibitions in Baku, Azerbaijan on 18-20 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Committee on Science and Technology.

“The exposition will be attended by domestic enterprises of the food sector, scientific organizations, concerns and holding companies. The State Committee on Science and Technology is the organizer of the collective scientific and technical section of the exposition. It will present innovations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and Belgospishcheprom Concern. More than 60 scientific, technical and innovative developments in the sector of food products and production technologies will be on show,” the committee said.

Caspian Agro is the largest international agricultural exhibition. Among its main sections are innovative technologies in agriculture, agricultural machinery, livestock and poultry production, feed, veterinary medicine, agricultural landscape, greenhouses, plant growing, cultivation of fruits, vegetables, flowers, cotton, textiles and much more.

Inter Food Azerbaijan is taking place alongside Caspian Agro and is the main meeting place for food industry players from the Caspian region.

This year Caspian Agro and Inter Food Azerbaijan participants include companies from Belarus, Azerbaijan, Germany, Georgia, Italy, India, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Turkey and the USA.
