Belarus to reduce export duties on oil, petroleum products on 1 November

MINSK, 28 October (BelTA) – On 1 November 2020 Belarus will reduce export duties on oil and petroleum products exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The decision was formalized by the Council of Ministers’ Resolution No.612 of 27 October 2020, BelTA has learned.

In line with the document, the export duty on crude oil will be $42.2 per tonne, down from $45.4 per tonne.

The export duty on straight-run gasoline will go down from $24.9 to $23.2 per tonne. The export duty on commercial gasoline, light and middle distillates will make up $12.6 per tonne, down from $13.6 per tonne. The same rate will be applied to diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oils.

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised on 1 October. Then, they were also revised downwards.
