MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) – Belarus will present a public private partnership strategy at the international congress PPP Days 2015 in London, BelTA learned from Dmitry Berezovsky, head of the center for public private partnership, before the presentation of the CIS model law on public private partnership on 26 May.

According to the source, Belarus’ participation in the PPP Days in London is a good opportunity to present the country’s program and strategy for promoting public private partnership, including a road show of Belarusian projects. In his words, what projects will be presented in London will be decided in early June. Results of their technical feasibility are being discussed now.

Dmitry Berezovsky stated that it is too early to announce the projects. “But the three projects will surely include the project to reconstruct the M10 motorway. The infrastructure council has yet to decide on the other two. At present there are a number of comments made by international experts regarding their advisability and launch dates. The infrastructure council will make the decisions bearing this information in mind,” he explained.

The international congress PPP Days 2015 will take place in London on 16-17 July. Belarus has been granted a unique opportunity to present three infrastructure projects before the world’s leading investors with assistance of the EU/UNDP project “Enhancement of the national potential for applying public private partnership mechanisms in the Republic of Belarus” and the Economic Commission for Europe.
