Belarus to participate in China International Import Expo
MINSK, 3 November (BelTA) – Belarusian companies will join the China International Import Expo online, BelTA learned from Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Belarusian national exposition at the China International Import Expo will open on 5 November. The event will be held online for the first time. The country’s biggest companies have already confirmed their participation. “Each virtual stand will display samples of products, videos about manufacturers and business offers, and Chinese visitors will be able to communicate with representatives of the Belarusian companies without leaving their offices,” the company said.
The participation in the online exposition was confirmed by OAO Naftan, Mozyr Oil Refinery, Belshina, Grodno Azot, Polotsk Steklovolokno and Svetlogorsk Khimvolokno.
The collective stand organized by the State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus will feature scientific developments and modern technologies of the organizations of the National Academy of Sciences, Education Ministry and Industry Ministry. The exposition will also be joined by food producers, light industry enterprises and the National Tourism Agency.
The opening ceremony of the online exposition will be held at 10.00 on 5 November with the participation of representatives of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, participating organizations and representatives of the Chinese side.
The Belarusian-Chinese business forum will take place as part of the event on 10 November. Its participants will discuss the development of trade and economic relations, prospects for cooperation, investment potential of the two countries, as well as opportunities to promote Belarusian products in the Chinese market.
According to Belinterexpo, in order to visit the national exposition it is necessary to register on TeMEx2020.com platform. The online exposition will stay open through mid January 2021.
The organizer of the online exposition and the forum is the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the operator is the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
