Belarus to increase participation in Egypt national greenhouse project
MINSK, 23 May (BelTA) - Belarus will increase its participation in the Egypt national greenhouse project which is being implemented with the assistance of Belarus. The agreement was reached during a visit of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt Sergei Rachkov to the National Company for Protected Cultivations, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Egypt.
The Belarusian ambassador visited the greenhouse complex and a production line for sorting and packaging vegetables of the National Company for Protected Cultivations. The company uses tractors BELARUS made by Minsk Tractor Works.
Sergei Rachkov met with with the top executives of the National Service Project Organization and the National Organization for Protected Cultivations. The parties discussed the prospects for Belarus increasing its participation in the national greenhouse project by providing greenhouse construction technologies, supplying agricultural machines and road-building equipment, exploring the possibilities of exporting Egyptian greenhouse products,” the embassy said.
The parties agreed on new shipments of tractors BELARUS for Egyptian greenhouses.
