Belarus to export 10m tonnes of potassium in 2017

MINSK, 21 December (BelTA) – In 2017 Belarus intends to export about 10 million tonnes of potassium, BelTA learned from Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Rusy on 21 December.

In 2017 Belarusian potassium export is expected to exceed this year’s export, which is estimated to surpass 9 million tonnes.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the government discussed these matters on a recent day. “About 10 million tonnes of fertilizers will be sold. Prices are levelling up now and have even increased somewhat. Contracts have been signed. Demand is solid,” said Mikhail Rusy.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the right strategy and tactics have been chosen to develop the Belarusian potassium industry.
