MINSK, 31 March (BelTA) – The Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus (DBRB) plans to develop the program of financial assistance for small and medium-sized business in close cooperation with the World Bank, BelTA learned from the press center of the DBRB after the annual general meeting of shareholders presided by Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov.
The program is implemented with the participation of ten partner banks. They took part in the DBRB’s financing of 124 investment projects of the small and medium-sized business to the tune of Br670 billion. Credit support made up Br170 billion.
At the meeting shareholders were instructed to improve the program which was launched in August 2014. Apart from that, participants of the meeting discussed the performance of the bank in 2014 and determined key goals for the future period.
