KAZAN, 15 March (BelTA) – Belarus and Tatarstan are mulling over the possibility of joint production of passenger transport, Belarus’ Premier Andrei Kobyakov told media after his meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on 15 March, BelTA has learned.
“We have willingly accepted the proposal to cooperate in joint production and supplies of trolleybuses and trams which Tatarstan does not produce yet,” noted Andrei Kobyakov.
In his words, Belarus and Tatarstan have good prospects for cooperation in the agro-industrial sector. “We have invited our counterparts to the Belagro expo which is due to take place in June 2016. We are going to display all our latest achievements there. We also have a lot to learn from our counterparts in Tatarstan. I believe that good partners always can find areas for cooperation, and we will use all the potential for it,” the PM said.
“We have agreed that our countries should develop cultural cooperation. We hope that Rustam Minnikhanov will accept our invitation to visit Belarus in H2 2016. It will be not just a visit to discuss trade and economic cooperation. A big cultural program will be developed,” Andrei Kobyakov said.
