MINSK, 1 June (BelTA) - Belarus has presented its exposition at the food industry exhibition InterFood Astana in Kazakhstan, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition company of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
At Kazakhstan’s international exhibition “Food, Beverages, Ingredients, Packaging and Equipment for the Food Industry” (InterFood Astana) the exposition of Belarusian manufacturers is presented under the brand name Belarus - The Taste of Nature. The Belarusian stand has showcased products from four domestic food producers: Volkovysk meat processing plant, Grodno meat processing plant, Slonim meat processing plant and Spartak. Their assortment includes sausage products, meat semi-finished products, confectionery and other products. Companies taking part in InterFood Astana have a unique chance to expand their business and present themselves on the Kazakhstan market. The event includes a business program featuring conferences, presentations, workshops and tastings.
On the opening day of the exhibition, the Belarusian stand was visited by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kazakhstan Pavel Utyupin.
“Belarus’ presence at the InterFood Astana exhibition confirms the growing interest in the country in the international arena and contributes to the establishment of new business contacts and the signing of profitable deals. The exhibition Belarus - The Taste of Nature will be running through 2 June,” Belinterexpo said.
The InterFood Astana exhibition is a traditional event that gathers specialists in the food, processing and packaging industry. This year, the event is taking place in a new location - the modern Nazarbayev Center. Over 70 companies from Belarus, Armenia, Vietnam, Germany, Kazakhstan, China, Malaysia, Russia, and Uzbekistan are presenting new products, modern technologies and innovations in the food, beverage, ingredients, and packaging industries.
The Belarusian exposition has been organized by the Belinterexpo exhibition company of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
