MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) – Belarus’ national pavilion opened at the 30th China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair, BelTA learned from the Consulate General of Belarus in Chongqing.
The opening ceremony was attended by a delegation of Grodno Oblast headed by Governor Vladimir Karanik.
"We are ready to make every effort to deepen the Belarusian-Chinese relations, trusting comprehensive strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation for the benefit of our regions," the head of the Belarusian region said.
This year, Belarus’ national pavilion features 13 leading enterprises of Grodno Oblast in various fields: meat and dairy, glass, chemical industry, woodworking, logistics and tourism.
"On the sidelines of the exhibition, a business matchmaking event was held for about 30 enterprises of Gansu Province. Representatives from both sides outlined the prospects for further cooperation," the Consulate General said.
The potential of Grodno Oblast was also presented at the Forum of Economic Cooperation of Twin Regions. Cooperation agreements were signed between the Mir Castle Complex and the Museum of Gansu Province, between the Beltamozhservice logistics operator and the Wu Wei Logistics Service Center.
The Belarusian delegation held talks with the leadership of China Gansu International Corporation for Economic and Technical Cooperation (CGICOP).
