MINSK, 8 November (BelTA) - Belarus and Türkiye intend to hold a joint business forum in the first quarter of 2024, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik said at a plenary session of the Belarusian-Turkish joint intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation in Ankara on 8 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Active and regular interaction with the Turkish-Belarusian Business Cooperation Council under the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye (DEİK), the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) and other serious associations of Turkish business are important elements in the development of trade and economic relations, Sergei Aleinik said.
Following the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Center for Marketing and the Association of Turkish Businessmen (ASRIAD), their representatives plan to take part in a joint business forum in Belarus in the first quarter of 2024.
