MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) - Belarus and Switzerland signed a protocol on the completion of bilateral negotiations on market access for goods and services in the framework of Belarus' accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarus Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On behalf of Belarus the document was signed by the Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva Yuri Ambrazevich, on behalf of Switzerland by the Permanent Representative to the WTO and EFTA Didier Chambovey.
Switzerland has become the 20th WTO member with which Belarus signed the protocol on the completion of bilateral negotiations on accession to the WTO. In 2017-2018 Belarus concluded bilateral negotiations with ten WTO members.
