MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – Belarus intends to use Germany’s experience of making biogas plants, the press service of the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
The Freiburg-based German company Binova intends to cooperate with Belarusian scientists and specialists in creating plants that will make and use biogas. The sides are also expected to cooperate in improving the operational parameters of biogas plants and in other areas of mutual interest.
The source noted that a Belarusian delegation took part in a program of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) on 23-26 February 2016 for the sake of improving Belarus-Germany ties in the area of higher education and scientific research. The delegation included representatives of the A.D. Sakharov International State Ecological Institute, the Belarusian National Technical University, the Systemic Analysis Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Belarusian State University, and the Belarusian Innovative Foundation.
The press service of the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus also said that while in Germany the Belarusian delegation visited the Berlin University of Applied Sciences where a large number of matters concerning joint cooperation were discussed such as education programs and R&D partnerships. As a result of the meeting the A.D. Sakharov International State Ecological Institute, the Belarusian National Technical University, and the Berlin University of Applied Sciences signed an agreement on cooperation.
