MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) – A Belarusian delegation led by Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus Alexander Shumilin is taking part in the second session of the Belarusian-Korean working group on scientific and technical cooperation in Seoul on 11 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the committee.
The parties will discuss prospects of scientific and technical cooperation and the implementation of a new Belarus-Korea R&D program. “The parties are expected to agree to co-organize a contest of Belarus-Korea R&D projects in the nearest future,” the press service noted.
The Belarusian delegation is expected to stay in Seoul from 10 to 13 April. The delegation will hold meetings and negotiations in South Korea’s Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, Samsung Electronics Company, the Institute of Science and Technologies, the Korea Institute for Energy Research, the Korea National Research Foundation, the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Dongsung Pharm Company, and other scientific and innovative organizations.
