MINSK, 10 January (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Republic of Korea Andrei Popkov met with Moon-Soo Ko, Executive Director at the Korea Auto Industries Coop. Association (KAICA), and Moon-Seok Choi, Head of the Trade & Technology Support Division, to discuss the prospects of cooperation in the automobile industry between Belarus and South Korea, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“At the meeting the sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the automobile industry, the prospects of interaction between Belarusian and South Korean companies in the manufacture of vehicle components and promotion of products on the markets of third countries,” the press release of the press service reads.
Special attention was drawn to the prospects of organizing visits of the representatives of South Korean business circles to Belarus, the participation in the economic events organized by the Belarusian side, the prospects of providing information about the potential of the Belarusian machine-building complex to South Korean organizations and companies.
