MINSK, 25 March (BelTA) – The Republic of Belarus and the Republic of South Africa are getting prepared for the next session of the joint committee on trade and economic cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The organizational issues were discussed during the meeting between Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Valentin Rybakov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Africa to Russia and concurrently to Belarus Mandisi Mpahlwa on 24 March. The development of a dialogue at the highest level was the key issue of the talks. The sides also discussed the necessity to work out some concrete steps to implement mutually beneficial economic projects and to boost the bilateral trade.
At the end of the meeting, Valentin Rybakov thanked the Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa who is concluding his diplomatic mission for his contribution to the development of Belarus-South Africa relations.
