MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) - The contracts signed following the visit of the Belarusian government delegation to Russia’s Karelia amounted to over $70 million, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
The government delegation led by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko is paying a working visit to Petrozavodsk and Murmansk on 24-26 May.
During his visit to Petrozavodsk the Belarusian head of government met with Head of the Republic of Karelia Artur Parfenchikov and visited the 2nd international stone processing forum Karelforum 2023. Roman Golovchenko also visited the enterprises of the region.
In Murmansk, the Belarusian prime minister is set to meet Murmansk Oblast Governor Andrei Chibis. Roman Golovchenko will also take part in the round table The Republic of Belarus - Murmansk Oblast: on the Way to a New Level of Economic Partnership.
