MINSK, 19 October (BelTA) – Belarus was among the first to sign an agreement on the participation in the Expo 2020 in Dubai, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing on 19 October, BelTA has learned.
According to Dmitry Mironchik, the Belarusian delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Yeudachenka, as well as representatives of more than 100 countries are in Dubai on 19-20 October discussing the organization of the expo.
“Belarus became the first state to choose a site for its national pavilion at the world expo and sign an agreement on participation on 19 October,” Dmitry Mironchik said.
In his words, this proves a high level of cooperation between Belarus and the UAE and also the country’s intention to use every opportunity to develop bilateral relations and demonstrate the country’s latest achievements and potential at the international venue.
