The Belarusian defense industry used the forum as a productive and effective platform as the heads of the arms industry enterprises held more than 200 negotiations. The meetings between Chairman of the State Authority for Military Industry of Belarus Dmitry Pantus and his colleagues from other countries focused on opportunities to expand cooperation ties, progress in implementing joint projects, as well as business contacts with a view to establishing prospective cooperation.
Belarusian arms manufacturers presented over 150 samples of their high-tech products at the exhibition forum and received a diploma in the National Exposition nomination along with representatives of Iran, China and India. All the nominees are full members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. They are opponents of a monopolistic world and supporters of equal development and mutually beneficial cooperation. The united stand, where most of the Belarusian manufacturers showcased their products, was awarded the Exhibition Organizers Cup.
The State Authority for Military Industry of Belarus considers these results as preliminary, as a lot of effort and work will have to be invested in order to implement what has been achieved. For Belarus and Russia, for the Union State, the Army 2024 has become a significant step towards gaining technological sovereignty, the agency emphasized.
