MINSK, 13 February (BelTA) – Belarus is interested in setting up a joint company with India to produce pharmaceutical drugs, Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich said in a meeting held on 13 February to discuss the issue of boosting Belarusian exports to Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka, BelTA has learned.

Director General of Belmedpreparaty Company Alexander Grigoryev stated for his part that in October 2014 his company got an international certificate to export products to the markets of the South Asian countries. “For our company this regions is a very promising and necessary market. We hope for close cooperation with these countries. It is expected that the first shipments will go to Sri Lanka,” he said.
