MINSK, 8 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian malting company Belsolod has shipped the first batch of light malt to Equatorial Guinea, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian state food industry concern Belgospishcheprom
The shipment of Belarusian malt coincided with the official visit of Equatorial Guinea President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo to Belarus. According to Belgospischeprom, given the agreements reached between the heads of state to on increase trade between Belarus and Equatorial Guinea, the volume of supplies to Equatorial Guinea will be growing in the coming years.
Belsolod is the largest producer of brewing malt in Belarus. For more than 30 years the company has held a strong position in the malt market, meeting the needs of Belarusian and foreign brewers in high-quality raw materials. About 60% of the output is exported to CIS and non-CIS countries. Since its establishment Belsolod has exported its products to more than 30 countries.
