Belarus, Shanghai discuss joint efforts to expand cooperation in manufacturing

MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) – Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Shanghai Andrei Andreyev met with Chairman of the Board of Chengdu Xinzhu Road and Bridge Machinery Co., Ltd. Xiao Guanghui, Deputy General Manager Yang Zhang, and Chairman of Shanghai Aowei Technology and Development Co., Ltd. Hua Li, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Shanghai.

The meeting was held at the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Shanghai. The parties discussed joint efforts to intensify cooperation in the manufacturing industry and to create new joint ventures in the field of innovative energy and energy-saving technologies in the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone.

During the talks, Andrei Andreyev emphasized that in accordance with the Belarus-China joint declaration on the establishment of all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership, Belarus will provide all the necessary support to Chinese partners in creating joint ventures in mechanical engineering, electric transport, innovative energy and other areas.

Chinese companies are the founders of Xinzhu Corporation LLC, one of the first major companies registered at the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone. The company manufactures equipment and materials for rail transport and supercapacitors.
