MOLODECHNO, 21 June (BelTA) – Belarus is determined to triple supplies of dairy products to China in 2018, Aleksei Bogdanov, Head of the Central Office for Foreign Economic Activities of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry, told reporters on 21 June, BelTA informs.
“Belarus’ dairy exports to China have considerably increased in 2017 and 2018. The export of these products in 2018 is expected to rise three times over 2017,” Aleksei Bogdanov said.
In January-April 2018, Belarus’ agricultural exports to China rose 1.9 times up to $9.3 million, including $4.8 million worth of dairy products. Over the four months Belarus shipped 12,800 tonnes of dairy products to the Chinese market, up 3.3 times over the same period in 2017. Belarus also launched sample deliveries of cheese, cottage cheese and butter.
