MINSK, 6 October (BelTA) – Serbian companies are interested in cooperating with Belarusian enterprises in production of goods for the markets of third countries, Chairman of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce and Industry Milivoje Miletic told journalists ahead of the opening of the Days of Business Cooperation between Serbian and Belarusian Entrepreneurs on 6 October, BelTA has learned.
“Our aim is to establish industrial cooperation and supply products to the markets of third countries,” Milivoje Miletic explained. First of all, the Serbian side expects to boost bilateral cooperation in the production of gas-powered buses. “The initiative was proposed some time ago. Today we hope to make concrete steps to advance our cooperation in this matter,” Milivoje Miletic pointed out.
Besides, Belarus will continue delivering trolleybuses and buses to Serbia.
Milivoje Miletic pointed out that the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce and Industry is running a number of industrial projects. The most interesting ones will be presented to Minsk businessmen during the Days of Business Cooperation between Serbian and Belarusian Entrepreneurs on 6 October.
The Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Minsk and Belgrade have already established contacts in line with a previously signed agreement. “The aim of our visit is to bolster our cooperation. The Days of Business Cooperation in Minsk will help us implement the agreements concluded during high-level visits,” Milivoje Miletic stressed.
The Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is hosting the Days of Business Cooperation on 6 October. A business matchmaking session has already been held as part of the event. Belarusian businessmen are holding negotiations with representatives of Serbian companies interested in developing cooperation in machine building, construction, transportation services, and other areas.
