MINSK, 16 March (BelTA) – Belarus and Serbia have agreed on a sci-tech cooperation program for 2016-2017, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The document was approved at the 7th meeting of the joint Belarusian-Serbian intergovernmental commission for sci-tech cooperation which took place in Belgrade on 15-16 March. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus Piotr Baltrukovich and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia Srdan Verbic. Partaking in the meeting was also Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Serbia Vladimir Chushev. The parties also agreed on an executive program for sci-tech and innovation cooperation for 2016-2017.
The parties also talked over the state and prospects for developing science and technologies, advancing innovative projects, producing science-intensive and high-technology products, and also further cooperation in intellectual property.
