MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – Belarus would like to increase supplies of foodstuffs and machinery to Armenia. This matter was discussed at the meeting of Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Nazaruk with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Belarus Razmik Khumaryan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed in detail the entire spectrum of Belarus-Armenia cooperation, interaction within the framework of integration organizations. Much attention was paid to a possibility to ramp up supplies of Belarusian food, passenger and municipal vehicles to Armenia. Inter-parliamentary cooperation was another important point on the agenda,” the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The parties exchanged views on how to resolve the Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict and resume economic cooperation in South Caucasus. They also discussed mutual support within the framework of international organizations.
