MINSK, 24 September (BelTA) – Belarus is interested in China’s participation in the development of the medical and pharmaceutical cluster in the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone, Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Tatiana Brantsevich said at an opening ceremony of the Chinese medical equipment exhibition held in the Great Stone park, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry.
Tatiana Brantsevich emphasized that Belarus is the only state in the region that has formalized the development of traditional Chinese medicine. Belarus intends to cooperate with China on the strategic development of the medical and pharmaceutical cluster. The Great Stone industrial park offers optimal conditions for this.
"We offer our Chinese partners to deepen cooperation on joint technological development, more actively create production facilities in medicine, pharmaceutics, biotechnology, and participate in the modernization of Belarusian enterprises using innovations in healthcare. Currently, the park already has about 20 resident companies that implement projects in these areas. I sincerely hope that the exhibition will provide an opportunity to double this figure and implement joint initiatives with renewed vigor," Tatiana Brantsevich said.
