MINSK, 4 July (BelTA) – Chairman of the Council of the Republic of Belarus’ National Assembly Mikhail Myasnikovich and the President of the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Turki bin Saud bin Mohammad Al Saud discussed the possibility of creating joint scientific and practical centers in knowledge-intensive industries during a meeting in Minsk, BelTA learned from the Council of the Republic.
“The parties noted the positive dynamics of cooperation between the two countries in scientific and technical areas. Mikhail Myasnikovich proposed to consider the possibility of establishing joint scientific and practical centers in knowledge-intensive industries, particularly in pharmaceuticals, optoelectronics,” the Council of the Republic informed. This idea was supported by the President of the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology.
The parties identified further ways to deepen cooperation in science, technology and innovation.
