MOSCOW, 20 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia’s Yaroslavl Oblast have agreed to advance relations in manufacturing cooperation, road construction and pharmaceutics, the press service of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia told BelTA.
A Belarusian delegation led by Industry Minister Vitaly Vovk visited Yaroslavl Oblast on 20 October. The delegation included representatives of government agencies, industrial enterprises and their distributors in Russia. The enterprises included BelAZ, BelavtoMAZ, MTZ, Minsk Motor Plant, Amkodor, Gomselmash, Mogilevliftmash, and other ones.
An expanded-participation session of the working group in charge of advancing cooperation between Belarus and Yaroslavl Oblast took place as part of the visit. The participants reached an agreement on further advancing relations in manufacturing cooperation, road construction, and pharmaceutics.
The Belarusian delegation also took part in the congress and exhibition event meant to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Russian engine construction industry. The event was timed to Yaroslavl Oblast Industry Day.
