MINSK, 6 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia’s Perm Krai are interested in expanding cooperation in the oil and gas sector and industry. The matter was discussed during a round table featuring representatives of Belarusian and Perm companies, BelTA learned from the website of the Minsk office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
“The parties considered opportunities for expanding trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Perm Krai in the oil and gas sector and industry. The speeches and presentations were followed by more detailed bilateral negotiations,” the report reads.
The event was attended by Deputy Director General for Foreign Economic Relations of the Minsk office of the BelCCI Irina Ivanova, Head of the Perm Export Support Center Krai Veronika Bazhgina, and representatives of 10 Belarusian and Perm enterprises.
Apart from the meetings at the Minsk office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Perm entrepreneurs held bilateral talks at the companies of Minsk, Mogilev Oblast and Gomel Oblast, and also negotiations in the form of video conferences with companies of Grodno and Novopolotsk.
