NOVOSIBIRSK, 27 September (BelTA) - The innovation medical technology center (medical technopark) in Novosibirsk and Belarus can cooperate in the field of 3D printing and implant production. The potential of the technological park was showcased on 27 September during the working visit of Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov to Novosibirsk, BelTA has learned.
The medical technopark is a unique project for the Russian medicine. It includes laboratory, research, clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitation facilities. The center works on projects to create modern rehabilitation facilities, early detection systems for oncological diseases, tissue engineering complexes, personalized implants, and implants based on nanostructured bioceramics.
The production output of the center will reach RUB2 billion by 2020. In 2015-2017, the center developed more than 120 new medical products, received 13 registration certificates, and treated more than 3,000 patients using its own technologies and medical products.
Andrei Kobyakov also visited the Siberian Aeronautical Research Institute named after S. A. Chaplygin. In 2013 SibNIA was named the leading scientific and research organization in small aircrafts aviation technology. The institute develops high-tech flying samples. In 2017 the institute produced an experimental model of the multipurpose composite plant TVS-2DT designed for nine persons. The plane was showcased at the MAKS 2017 expo. TVS-2DT and other SibNIA aircraft, including the two-engine Yak-40, were showed to the Belarusian head of state.
The prime minister got familiar with the work of OOO Sibelektroprivod, the largest manufacturer of traction electric cars of medium capacity in the Ural-Siberian region. One of the main customers of its products is OAO BelAZ, the managing company of BelAZ Holding Company. On 27 September BelAZ and Sibelektroprivod are expected to sign an agreement on strategic partnership.
