MINSK, 12 October (BelTA) - Belarus and Chelyabinsk Oblast signed contracts for the supply of equipment during the working visit of the Belarusian government delegation led by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko to the Russian region on 12 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade.
The Belarusian government delegation led by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko is on a working visit around the Russian regions. The Belarusian head of government visited Ufa on 10-11 October and Chelyabinsk on 12 October. The visit was timed to coincide with the Belarusian-Chelyabinsk business forum. A number of documents were signed during the forum. They included an agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture of Chelyabinsk Oblast and MTZ for the supply of tractors, a contract for the supply of Amkodor machinery between AMKODOR-Ural and Belmash-Ural, a contract for the supply of elevators manufactured by Mogilevliftmash towards Belur.
“Belarus and Chelyabinsk Oblast are long-standing and reliable partners. The mutual trade between our regions show good dynamics. This year we aim to maintain the set pace by increasing mutual supplies and intensifying industrial cooperation,” Belarusian Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Aleksei Bogdanov said at the forum.
The parties discussed bilateral relations during the event. One of the important areas is the current bilateral relations and prospects for expanding cooperation in the agro-industrial complex. A visit to the CHKZ Agro plant was organized to get the participants familiar with the production process, the range of manufactured equipment, and the company's services.
The Agricultural Machinery Department of the Chelyabinsk Compressor Plant produces agricultural machinery for a wide range of applications (semi-trailers, sowing complexes, harvesting equipment, others).
